What are the backyard mechanics useing to raise your truck for service?a modified jack?fabricated jack points?do you have pictures?i am planning on more drop and takeing all things into consideration. thanks

I have a 2 jacks. I put the small one under where the front bumper bolts to the frame to extend the suspension enough to get the big one under the crossmember. no pic, but it works for me.

I have 2 jacks also. 1 to get it started and the 2nd to finish the job. Sometimes it takes a little muscle to lift the front up a little so that I can slide the jack into place.

Not use to a lowered truck but with my camaros I use 2 short 18" 2x10"s. I just drive the front tires up on to them and go from there. gives me just enough room to get the jack under it. If you need more room you could just double them up......................jt

2 jacks are a must! one needs to sit real low to get under the arm!
The rearend is easy part!
I also dug a 3' deep and 14' long trench that I crawl into for repairs that don't need a jack!

Why not drive the truck up on some 2x6's?? Use 1 long one 1 shorter one then 1 short one. That will raise the truck 4 1/2". Low rider car ramps,.

I had a 4 post lift and if its to low it can be a biger deal than two jacks and wood I would have to use 2x10s to get on the rack. my buddy has a s10 with 5" and 7" drop and 17"tt2s and we just lift on one fender and the other one slides the jack in

I have 2 jacks also. Using a stock 88-98 Truck scissor jack to get it up a little, then my Craftsman 3ton floor jack to finish it....
