how to take apart rear brakes??

Yello!
I have my parts truck almost apart! I'm stuck on the rear brakes
It is a 14 bolt rear end with some big a55 drums!

Does the axcel bolts have to come off?

Is there a trick to getting these drums off???

Thanks again!

What year truck? If it's one of the 78's you have, they don't have outboard drums like the newer trucks. You have to remove the 8 axle bolts, pull the axle out, bend open the lock tabs, remove the outer axle nut, the lock plate, the inner nut and washer, and then remove the hub/drum assembly. Hope that helps.
