Newbie Needs Help w/ K3500 Please?

Hey Guys,
Just joined the forum, looks very nice, and CERTAINLY very informative. I just bought a 67 (number 2), but this question is about my 1989 (old style body being a K3500 so I posted it here). It's a 4X4, 1 ton crew cab that has had the rear end changed from a dually to a single wheel. I'm trying to keep it that way, but, the front axle uses Budd wheels and the rear uses a stock standard "flat" rim!
My question, is, can I, or HOW can I change the front axle/spindle to accept the standard type wheel?
Also, I'm needing a front drive shaft for it, it was in my parts pile that my ex sold for scrap. Anybody know what it interchanges with? Any help with these questions would really be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
