Lightbulb 700R swap

Can anyone tell me what is involved in a TH350 to 700R swap.

You'll need to move the trans xmember back and drill some new holes.... may have to modify the driveshaft length as well. You'll want to have the TV cable properly adjusted immediately to avoid damage to the trans.... wire the lockup solenoid to the brake switch so it disengages on braking... you may also want to control it with a switch under the dash. Oh yeah, make sure you also install a good trans cooler, they don't tolerate heat well...

Those are the major points.... others will have more tips. They are great transmissions when properly built and correctly installed... good luck.
