Wow try and say that 3x fast ha ha.

I decided it would be too big of a pain to take the body lift off my '73, but I still hate the bumper gap. Does anyone know if body lift brackets are available?

i am sure they are.... some come with the lifts... try contacting a reputable off road shop.. or you could have some made if you know someone or have access to that kind of stuff.

I have not found any bumper brackets for 73-87, from what I have seen you pretty much have to make your own, or modify the existing brackets, shouldn't be too hard of a job. I think with the rear you can flip the factory brackets and do a little work and make them work, but I have never done it myself.

For the front of my 82 4x4 GMC, my 71 K5 and my old 80 F150, I had the front bumper brought up by the only means available- cutting and rewelding. They cut the front 3-4" of the frame horns off, weld on a flat plate to the existing frame, and weld the frame horns up 3". I have paid anywhere from $40-150 to have this done (depending on who you know) No brackets are available for these years.

I think the reason being, the bumper mounts DIRECTLY to the frame. In later model years, there are brackets between the bumper and the frame, which allow companies to make lift brackets.

As far as the back goes, I have had good luck just flipping the stock mount brackets and getting the bumper up 3" with some convincing.
