Question Need A Measurement Please

What is the proper width Dana 44 for a 72 K20?? From WMS to WMS, 8 lugger??

69 inches according to the info in Pirate4x4's Bible. Look under "GM front ends." I expect 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton front D44s have the same wms because the different hubs have the same wms offset for the rotor mounting surface and the rotors are the same thickness at the wms.

and a measurement from an actual K20 would be the best there is.

68 & 11/16 inches, this one has disk brakes, if that matters to ya.
