How much does a 63 suburban weight?

Does anyone know how much a 63 burban weights- 2 wheel drive, small block.

I tried www.6066gmctrucks.org and they seem to think it's pretty light, I don't remember what it even was now, but it seemed low. My 1/2 ton pickup weighs about 4100, I would guess a suburban would be 800 to 1000 lbs more.

The following link lists the 60-62 Suburban at 4385 lbs. and the 64-66 Suburban at 4175 lbs. No listing for '63...

Hello newbe351.What is the model number of your burb and I will look it up for you.I have spec books on most 60 thru 72 chevs and gmcs.I beleave its the same as 62 but I need the model number to verify that.

Thanks apachetrucks. Actually, I was just trying to help out fastbagged68 with his original question. I don't have a burb, but just recently acquired a '66 GMC (351 V6) and hang out a lot at the 6066 GMC Truck site. I know I have a lot of questions and spend a lot of time on the web so if I can point someone to a site for a possible answer I'm more than glad to do so. Maybe fastbagged68 can send you his info, then we can all find out. Thanks again...
