I hate the inside of the bed, I'm more of a 3-4 maybe 4-6 at the most drop guy, but that is one sweet truck if it was a little higher. Not a fan of the wheels either. A+ truck though. If that was somebodies goal though, it might be worth it.

When i look at customs the big thing i look for is consitancy. If the owner accomplishes the look they are going for i applaud them even if its not my particular style.
The issues i have with this truck is that he states the truck is "fully shaved" yet you can clearly see the bumper bolts which i feel should have been shaved with the rest of the truck. I also think that it would have been in the owners best interest to cover the bed because it doesnt make any sense to me to have a open bed with a nonfuctional tailgate and so little bed space. It would have been better if he broke up the bed area into compartments and covered the whole thing for a smoother look. I also noticed that he has NO interior pictures which leads me to believe that $20,000 is a little too much to ask for an unfinished project. I would have also gone to a 1pc window and a solid rear window. It just doesnt make alot of since to me to smooth things like the cowl and and doors and then have vent windows and a rear sliding window. Again, i dont want anyone to think that i dont LOVE THIS TRUCK because it certainly has alot going for it but for 20k the owner should have finished the job imho. |

Those taillights would last for, oh about 10 seconds with the way the cops are around here. Rightfully so, they are just too small. Steve, you have a good eye, I didn't even notice that the interior is probably not finished (looks like he has a red seat in it, doesn't exactly go with the all silver theme). And no wipers or signal lights in the front. Does North Carolina have an inspection? Ready to make a run for the border in Va.........Jerry

If we're gonna get real picky....for a 20K truck they should have paid more attention to body panel alignment. Look at pass fender & door. Not saying I could do better, I know I can't....but for 20K you'd better have your A game goin on.

"POS" is a little hard wouldn't you think, Smitty? I mean, after looking at the body and stuff closer, I realize its not a $20K machine, but far from a "POS". It's still a $10K truck IMO. Sure it needs some more time spent on it, but a nice truck nonetheless.......Jerry

They did a lot of good work on it, not my style, but it needs the finishing details to bring out that kind of price.

it makes me sick everytime someone posts a link like this and all you guys pick it apart, no truck is exactly what YOU would have built but he didnt build it for you, attitudes like this are the reason i could care less about taking mine to shows, i see alot of trucks on this board that are junk but always get the "nice truck" reply, get real. If the person doesnt belong to the board you tear them apart, makes you people sound jealous. I can appreciate all custom or stock vehicles, some do look like **** but most of them that get picked apart on this board do not deserve it. sorry for the rant, i just hear it at shows all the time and its tiresome.

I'm willing to bet his name is B-Rad and he needs money to pay for HVAC School, cause the rap/playa/gangsta career didn't work out.
This truck reminds me of the old saying: Welcome to 5 years ago!! 20K!? Maybe another B-Rad will buy it. Buying something highly Customized, like this example, can bite you big time if you're not careful(dashpad). And who knows what lurks underneath that dropped body. If he gets 20 for it, I'd like to meet the person who bought it, cause I got Beach front property in AZ. I'd like to sell him.

I like the truck. I think it should have the interior finished for 20k. Biggest problem I have is fuel cell location. Looks to me like you would have a pretty good stretch with a gas pump hose over that bed side to fill it. I just dont like the idea of having to reach over that paint everytime I want to put gas in it.

Overall, I really like it. It would be tought to get a truck to lay rockers. I'd ut on a bed cover though. If I had $20K to spend right now, it would be on a 2wd blazer... ![]()

I like the frontend, and the wheels, and even the interior (what has been finished), however, that bed would HAVE to go. The floor is ugly, the gas tank should be hidden, and the tailgate should be functional. Besides, the rearend is just missing something...I odn't know what exactly, but it's hideous. However, get the full-size tub out of there, add the tailgate and hide the gas tank, and throw in a polished cherry bed, and THAT would be sexy.

Overall I dig it. The silver with purple frame/brake booster looks sweet. On a full custom job like that, laying frame is the only way to go. Finish the interior, put a color matched hard toneau on it and that is one sweet @$$ truck! Ofcourse, this is coming from someone who doesn't have 20K just lying around.
