Wtb..need Idle Stop Solinoid A/c - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

looking for a idle stop ..solinoid for my quadrajet carb

this is what kick's the idle up for the a/c
please notice the tab and screw location on the front of the carb...where it mounts on the carb....thanks for any help...mark

Mark just saw your post. I have a solenoid and the correct bracket, they came from a 72 w/350. The solenoid is questionable but IMO the bracket is the hard part to find, by the way the solenoid is still available though AC Delco. If you want the one I have it is yours if you pick up shipping (should no be more than $4.00). Let me know and I will get it boxed up. Harold
