WTB/ 67-68 seat belt retainers
Does anyone have any of these they would sell?
Has anyone ever seen these? the factory assembly manual shows them mounted to the front of the console on trucks equipped with the buddy buckets, and if the truck had shoulder belts there was another pair mounted to the tube frame.

I thought they tucked into the console itself...? Hence the square rather useless pockets.

There are no seatbelt pockets on the buddy buckets it is a seat that folds up and down and functions as an arm rest when not being used as a seat, you are thinking of the blazer console it has the square spots for the seatbelts. Buddy buckets have those clips in the photo above.

Seat Belt Retainers
I have found the plastic part only not the metal stand-off part. I find them in 67 and back vans with seat belts. This is the van with the motor mounted behind the seats. Sometimes the clips are mounted on a riser that goes up for the engine. I have also found some(quite similar) in very early ElCaminos.
Might also check early Dogde vans. Good luck - Bob

Bob. if you come across any out there could you get them for me? I dont see hardly any older vans around here.
You can still find the the ones for 69 to 72 cars but they are different, I have some and may end up using them but would like to stay original. 69-72 car style

Seat Belt Retainers
Yes - I agree that I don't like the look of the car ones as well either. Those are the same as the Elcamino. What cars do you find those in?
Thanks - Bob I will keep my eyes open for the van ones.

Bob, I've never seen any of these in cars, they were sold in dealerships as an accessory. The ones in the pic are on ebay right now for 9.95 but I have bought the complete set for as low as 2.00, they are on ebay all the time.
