Anybody interested in trading for my 97 Chevy K1500

Would anybody be interested in trading a good 68-72 Chevy short fleet (little or no rust), auto trans, p/s, p/b, 2 or 4wd, for my 97 Chevy K1500, 4wd, shortbed, silverado (loaded), extended cab (only 2 doors), rootbeer metallic ext, tan cloth int, has alum toolbox, 130K miles, runs/looks good, average retail per Kelley blue book is $8000. Would love to get back to an older truck. I'm in Rock Hill SC, close to I77. Can get a picture tomorrow. Thanks

No interest??? Maybe I can sell mine, then talk one of ya'll into selling me one. Most of the links are about talking.......not so much buying or selling.

Greg is hard to sell a truck on the board because of all the factors.
Keep your worm in the water and a fish will bite!
I'll give you mine for $15gnotes.
Good Luck with the mission.

Maybe

Hey GregBR, I may be interested but I have a 67 LWB fleetside, here are my specs:
67 C20 fleetside LWB
454 bb with THD 400 with shift kit (less than 1700) miles on engine and trans
All parts listed here are new:
Edelbrock RPM Performer intake with 800 CFM Edelbrock carb, don't remember cam size but it has a really nice sound, headers, Chrome valve covers, starter, radiator, alternator
15 X 8 White spoke wheels and tires on front
15 X 10 White spoke wheels and tires on rear
Complete new dual exhaust with Mangaflows
Complete brake system (no power booster)
has new aftermarket tailgate, I still have the original in garage
Front has been dropped 3 inches and rear has been dropped 4 inches.
It needs a good paint job, it is currently all black. It may get painted next week depending on if I trade/sell it.
I also have a new unused 16 Gal Summit racing fuel cell (not installed)
Let me know if you want more pics and either tomorrow or friday I will take some and post.

Here is a pic of the engine and the body before it was painted black.

Thanks for the interest cochran63 & padreisla, you both have nice rides, but I really want a 67-72 shortbed (4wd would be like hitting the lottery) Thanks again, Greg

No, I'm not in a great hurry Zoomy. Yours sounds good, is it 4wd? I guess it depends on what else pops up around here, Keep me in mind. What color are you painting it? Greg
