66front supension?'s
Hi to all current owners.Does someone have answers on this topic?? I got this project(66 shorty fleetside). I have already airred the back, and it gets super low.all is good! But the front, "as i was told" will not go very low without spindles. is this true?? I wanted to just cut springs for now to bring whole truck alittle lower.will this drop the front at all/or how much? "the person telling me this isn't really the best source". I need more knowledgable help. I am going to install air in front as soon as i can afford it. postscript:with rear air up the truck is even height now. i just want entire level to run lower...the whole air purpose right!! c-pics: truck aired up & half down.also rear with 18.5 mickeys & boxed in firewall.

you can cut the front springs, but you will have to be careful driving it.a bad dip in the road will cause the lower a frames to bottom out at the crossmember.mine are all beat up.also as the truck gets lower, the tire will get closer to the fender.i changed to drop spindles.
