Door Handle and window crank removal?

I want to take my door panels off, but don't have the special handle/crank removal tool to do it. Is there any other way to get the things off? Also Rollie 396, if you read this, your PM box is full.

I've got a pick set. Thanks a lot! I'll give it a try tomorrow.

The tool is very cheap and available at most parts stores. You can also use a small rag. Just stretch it out with both hands at a 90 degree angle to the crank handle then slide it inbetween the handle and door panel using small back and forth movements. The clip will pop loose.

The rag trick sounds like the best one yet! Thanks. I need to get to the parts store badly, but when its 90 miles away I have to have a good reason to go. Next time I'm there I will pick up the tool.

I bought one at NAPA, and I will never go without one again. Well worth it next time you are in town,
