Question 72 AC truck with two inlets on tank sender

Can someone confirm the line routing for me on the two inlet tank sending unit?

On the two inlet sender units, I believe the smaller one is for the return line from the fuel pump. I cannot find any information on this setup and I would like to know if this is the correct routing.

I have not been able to find a listing on the fuel pump for the trucks but I am sure the later cars have them. My 69 El Camino has the return line coming back off of the fuel filter and I have seen fuel pumps on the mid seventies Corvettes with the fuel pump that has the return line on it.

Any help would be appreciated.

My 72 suburban and 72 blazer are set-up like that. You can get the fuel pump at autozone that has the return line.I don't know how good they are,I've not used one from there. They are listed under 72 c/10

Smile

Mike,

I had not thought about checking Autozone! The Autozone site says that my local store has one for $12.99 with limited life time warranty.

Thanks for the information.
