I have white-letters on my Ochre/White truck and they look mean! I remember when i changed from white-striped 235/75-15's to white letter 255/60-15 Dayton Daytona's i got complements from every car guy in school on how much better it looked....people would ask what i did to the truck to make it look so much better. Most though it got new wheels and tires.

Depends on the truck, and IMO unless it's a cleaned-up custom, go with the right look for the time period.
Sixties & Seventies? White letters out!

i vote no letters, its too redneck. all you would need to do is spray some gray primer, jack up the rear and put short cherry bomb muffers on ..lol...

really i think its just a personal deal. i love white walls on my harley, many people hate it, but in the end its what YOU want.

I really like your truck, its very clean. The one thing that I didn't like was the whitewalls, but I never had a reason to say anything about it. That being said, keep the letters to the inside.

Yeah with that truck I'd say white out, but with a truck like mine I'd go black out.
Nice truck BTW.

Blackwalls al the way. Quick funny story, My bro-in-law was all set to buy a set of 17" Torque Thrust II's for his 67 camaro when he realized he couldn't get white letter tires for them. He changed his whole plan and went with a set of 15" pacer "ss" copies. Just to have white letters. Seemed like a massive downgrade to me. Oh well to each his own..........Jerry

Your truck looks good with whites. I think it goes with the trim and the top of the truck. It depends on the truck, but I usually don't like actual whitewalls on trucks. If I get a set of tires that has raised white lettering, no whitewalls, I like the white lettering out.

Wheels And Tires

After looking at a zillion and and a half vehicles in my 50 + years I've come to the conclusion that wheels and tires can make or break a vehicle. I was reading down the thread this morning and was glad when I saw the posted pic of your truck. In my humble opinion with the color of your truck and the paint scheme on her the whitewalls on the truck now do not look good to me. Now going with BFG Radila T/A a's is a smart idea. These are probably the greatest looking raised white letter tire ever designed. I feel that if you put the raised white lettering out it will pull the whole look of your truck together and it will look super. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your truck with the new tires and which way you decided to go.

I do not like white letters out...therefore I voted for Black walls and let the rims do the talking not the silly tire letters.
