I assume this is a protect-o-plate

I found this with the 72's papers. What good are they? Just a curiosity..How common? Still learning about such things.

I have mine for my 72, but i think that just cause grandpa shoved the sales receipt and all the other paperwork in the owners manual and put it in the glovebox never to be touched again

in all reality, it is useless onless you want to find the original owner.
But it is neat though, and when advertising, it seems to help for some reason.
