Exclamation WTB GM Dana 44 3/4 Ton Front Axle 71 UP!

Looking to buy a GM Dana 44 8 Lug front axle 71 and up, complete with steering linkage. Need correct width to fit a 71/72 4x4 pickup. Need 3.73 or 4.10 gears. Can't afford to rebuild it so condition must be good or better. Limited Slip or Posi would be good.

Thanks,
72longbed

My '72 has the axle you need. I want to put in a dana 60 when I can afford it, which may be a while. But if you want to wait, my original 44 has 4:09's, A new dana trac-lock (put in about 10,000 miles ago), all 4 new ball joints, both knuckle u-joints & spindle bearings along with brake pads all done under 1,000 miles ago. It has the original spicer lockouts. It has the larger knuckle u-joints, some 72's & all 70/71 disc brake GM 44's have smaller u-joints (as I understand).
