WTB: Coffee cans of nuts/bolts/screws
This may sound strange , but I think most of us have been there before. I'm looking for spare screws/nuts/bolts for a 67-72 truck. The guy that I bought my current truck (72 Blazer) off of must have kept one bolt for every three that he put back on. EVERYTHING that I've worked on on this truck has been missing fasteners, from the heater boxes to the inner fenders to the front seats, etc, etc...
I'm looking for thoses coffee cans/boxes of miscellaneous bolts/nuts/screws that you accumulate from working on old trucks. I'm hoping to build up my inventory of various original little stuff for my Blazer to save myself countless trips to the store or junk yard to get that one last screw to complete a mod or repair. Let me know what you've got. |

When the guy that I purchased one of my 1960 Chevy Sedan deliveries was selling out, I spotted a 5 gallon bucket of bolts etc., in a corner. You cant believe the # of times I have used screws clips, whatever from that bucket.

I Have A Sh!tload Of Em, Only Problem Is I'm Not Finished, Sorry,
But Maybe You Could Get Back To Me This Summer, If You Are Not In A Hurry That Is. I've Almost Got Everything Needed To Assemble One. (The P.O. Has Converted To "Totally Stainless" Everywhere)

Trust me olblue, I do believe how often you use that 5 gallon bucket of parts. I sold my stash with a ton of other parts I had...a result of a little bellyaching from my wife which led to a spring cleaning of the garage with conveinantly timed swap meet. I regret it now...
LUV2XCLR8, I'm not in a huge hurry for a surplus. It's one of those things where I'm always working on something on the truck, and having them handy would save me a ton of time with the current tast at hand. If nothing comes through...I'll post it again in the summer. |

I have tons of this stuff from parted trucks but I think the shipping would kill the deal

You could always make an exploratory trip to your locak junkyard. They'd never miss the bolts.
