First road trip well in a long while

Well took my truck for a road trip yesterday 160 round trip, my 96 way down for intake gasket fix .It was the first time I've had it out of town in about 2 yrs it was way cool tons of new trucks (they all start to look alike) but mine was to only old GMC or Chevy that I saw .I think I got about 12 mps and that was running about 70 75 the whole way Don’t usually drive that fast but I figured out my speedometer was reading 5 to 7 to slow. My new seat made it so much more comfortable 1999 or 2000 seats.

It was so nice here I got mine out yesterday. Had to put a charged battery in it and work on the stereo, but it ran great after that............Shes back in her little bed now.

Yup, feels pretty good to get 'em out now and then. Like yours, mine rarely leaves town any more. Last time was a few months back, 100 miles to get new BFGs installed. Stayed at 55-60 mph (4.10 gears) except for a quick run to 75 or so to check the tire balance. Even got a couple compliments on the old beater while at the tire shop!
