Four Wheel Drive Gas Milage

Because I just got this 78 1/2 ton four wheel drive a month ago I need to make sure everything is running right before I take long trecks for some hay or feed.

First thing I need to know is what's the like new gas milage for one with a 350 and constant drive. At least I still remember how my 72 1/2 ton two wheeler was a ten mile a gallon rig.

Since I've been to several refineries and even remember how the delivery tanker trailers don't drain fully. And how a lot of gas is so messed up it can tear any carb up. I just need to know more on how my rig should burn gas right.

i get 12 mpg around town with my '77 K20 with a snow blade on the front of it. i would suspect that your K10 would actually get a little less than that in town. the trucks are very similar in weight, and i have more gear to get the truck motivated. you'd definitely beat me on the highway. i'd say on the highway you could get 14mpg fairly easily.
