396 and 402 blocks in DFW

I have 2 bare blocks for sale. I'm not using either one of these and the garage needs cleared out. I'm in the in the DFW area and would rather not try to ship these babies.

One is an early casting (65-66) 396 that is .030 over. The casting # is 3855961, date code F 19 5 (6-19-1965), and VIN code is TO708IVR213919. This one has been sitting for a while and has some surface rust.

The other is a 402 that is .030 over. The casting # is 3969854, date code B 1 71 (2-1-1971), and VIN code is TO215CLB. This was a running eng in my truck, I pulled it before it started to knock (low oil pressure & hurt bearings).

I've also got a flex plate and a balancer for internal balance big blocks. The flex plate is in good condition and the balancer is in ok condition. These were on the 402.

I'm asking $100 each for the blocks, $25 for the flex plate, and $10 for the balancer.

You can PM me or call my cell 817-427-1261

Yeah, I might be interested in the rusty 396, but do you know if it is rebuildable?

I've not had either block sonic tested. But from what I've read and what my machinist told me, either one shoud be fine for up to an additional .030 overbore. The 396 might take more than that, but definitely would have to be checked. I know the pic of the 396 looks pretty rusty, but I don't see any bad pitting. I've run across a few BBC's that have had spun bearings, neither of these blocks show any evidence of that: no blue caps or beat up saddle areas. I would be willing to refund money if either one of these is crap. I've been jacked before and don't want to do that to anyone else....
