Can 3/4 ton springs be put on a 1/2 ton?
I want to switch the leaf springs on my 90 GMC 1/2 ton to the heavier 3/4 ton springs. Can this be done? If so will I need to do any changing or modifying to get them in. Also, where could I find some good aftermarket springs at? Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks.

They should just bolt in, the spring lengths are the same.

yes, they will work. should bolt right in. not sure on where to find aftermarket springs. you could probely find some in a junk yard pretty easy, also cheaper.
