Question Door Poppers For Shaved Doors?

OK, I guess it's time to buy the Poppers. Just as soon as the Snow evicts the area, I'm going to get my doors on. (Already shaved) started working on the Inside guts before the winter snow hit but didn't get much done.

I did a search and didn't come up with a whole lot. so what brand? where are they located on the truck? ETC.ETC.
Is there different strengths for the Poppers?

I'l go check "autoloc"out right now, But want some input before I hit the Buy now button!

Look in the back of any street truck mag and you'll find loads of jobbers selling various makes of door poppers.

Sorry, I was meaning the Poppers..

I ordered the set up from A1-electric. 45 Lb Popper Kit, 2 Soleniods, wiring, two switches, 2 Poppers. Optional Emergency release cable, and two Optional Accessory Relays with wiring plug.. I got the Poppers like yours. I really like the metal Strap Spring ones though.. no holes to drill. But you like yours, so that's why I went with them..

I ordered them late last night Online, I received a conformation Shipped. E-mail today..

I already have an alarm, with remote electric unlocks, So I'll wire into that setup for Remote opening/closing.

The whole works cost $170.75

awesome. let us know how they work once u get em all done up.

are you gonna rig up the emergency release cable? did it come with the back up switch that you hide somewhere? what i did was mount the back up switch right where theives wouldve looked for it and wired it staight to my alarm. it was a good decoy

I've got the electric-life "door thrusters" on my blazer and already had two of them break. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I'm going to utilize the Emergency cable. And, It comes with 2 switches, and all wiring.

The kit came in yesterday. It is a well put together kit. The emergency Cable even comes with a nice braided steel hose that moves freely within two aluminum pieces that bolt to the door jamb, and the cab post. I'm hoping that It is big enough for my other wires to run through also. I'm going to contact A-1 and see if I can buy just another one for the wires on the passenger side.

Those are the flat Stock, metal ones? I was kind of concerned they may break with use.
