Tell me about the 70 model 1/2ton (Newb)
I am new to these 67-72 trucks but I am wanting to get into a rough truck that I can work on restoring over the next few years. There is possibly a 70 model here locally that I am going to check out later.
My question is, what should I look for on the 70? What options were available in this year? What else should I look at? rust spots?

1.) TO THE BOARD FROM WEST 10-UH-C
2.) OPTION LIST ON THE INSIDE OF THE GLOVEBOX DOOR (THE MORE THE BETTER) 3.) EVERYTHING IS AVAILABLE REPRODUCTION, IMHO, THE CAB IS THE AREA TO SPEND THE MOST TIME LOOKING AT, CHECK CAB SUPPORTS, ROCKERS, FLOOR PANS, CAB CORNERS, AROUND THE WINDSHEILD SEAL TO NAME A FEW

A/c should be avalible on all of them. A 70 would be 6 lug wheels if its a 1/2 ton. Would also have drum brakes. 71 would be 5 lug with discs...

Don't forget to check the driprail for rust. And eng side of cowl/firewall in the area of the wiring channel (above heater box/dist/master cyl). Also inner kickpanel/vent area.
