Need pics of tail lights in roll pan.

Surely somebody has tail lights in their roll pan and willing to share pics and/or assembly instructions. I got a roll pan today for my stepside and want to put some lights in it.

Thanks in advance.

was it a thin light or a full size light? I'm just trying to get some ideas.

XXL, That's the look!!! Mine is a stepside too. Looks just like that (without the lights). Got any info on the lights - mounting, pointers, etc.

Thanks in advance

I've had to rework them a couple of times over the years... at present there's a metal can welded to the rolled pan. The can has a flat face lip that mates with a steel plate and gasket. 4 1157's per side are part of the steel plate. If a bulb goes out, I pop the plate off and change the bulb. Last round I used removable 1157 sockets but they leaked water... and actually promoted bulb burnout as a result (splashing up on a hot bulb). Before that were LEDs but I never could get them bright enough for my liking-- too directional.

Oh well, I was hoping it was something I could do, but sounds like I would nothing but !@#$ it up. While I'm at it, did you put those hidden latches on your tailgate? Or is there some other secret I don't know about.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Tailgate latches are from CPP. They're a pretty simple install. I did mine about 5 years ago and have had no problems with them. You will need some kind of limiting strap to keep the gate from spinning around and hitting the ground (or bumper or whatever). I used the straps from Pros Picks. They work fine, but the company's customer service was unimpressive. They also have a hidden latch solution at the link above. I'm starting a rework on my bed to raise the floor some more (and assorted other things) and so I'm going to hinge the tailgate to swing side to side... so I'll be getting rid of one or both of the CPP latches in the process.

Interested in selling the latches and straps? I saw your website and LOVE the front bumper lights. Do you still have the 72 bumper? I need one of those too!

Thanks,
Brad

When they come off, yes. Also, I have the front bumper that's still on the truck (the chrome one) and that will be available as well once I do the swap.
