Long stepside wanted
I'm still searching out that elusive long stepside bed. Anyone know of one located in NoCal or the northwest? I'm located in Oregon just west of Portland. I'd prefer one with the cutout for the spare tire, but at this point I'd settle for one either way. Even one without the fenders right now, I can restore the bed and then finish the fenders. Thanks.

What year?
I know of a 70 chevy stepside long box, and I believe it has the spare tire carrier on it. I guess I never thought that these were uncommon.

One of the board members just listed one for sale in Seattle. He had a 2 for $1000 deal going with a long step and a LWB.

How long of a long step. Pickupman has a 9 foot long stepside truck for sale in Virginia and mine might be for sale later on this year.

I saw a really nice longbed step ( complete ) at Pick- N-Pull in Reno last weekend. No rust. It could probably use a new tailgate but the sides, fenders and steps were in pretty good condition.

Gonebad2, is there any chance you'd have a couple of pictures of that bed?

Sorry JJ....No pics..The bed sides might still be there but I bet the fenders are gone. Both of them looked pretty good.

I bought my 8' longstep from the local u-wrench-it. I have a 9' that I've yet to pick-up. I hope to have the 8' on my GMC by next weekend.

Step Bed
If you're coming to NC., I live in myrtle Beach, and I have a long step bed, and it's apart for shipping. Both sides, tailgate, and two REALLY nice fenders. No tire cut out. These fenders are super, super clean. One bedside will need a small patch. Gate needs some work, but not major. If you can come pick them up, I'll take $450. for everything. And, to sweeten the pot, if I still have it then, I'll even throw in a small window cab (less doors and glass), and a SWB frame for an additional $100.00 WITH title.
