I will take a picture when I get back from eating. It goes in about 3 or 4 inches behind the switch on the kick panel I think. Will get you pictures to be sure.

Thanks,
It's a pretty hard to explain what I am looking for but I guess you understand. I had a 71 Cheyenne Parts truck that I scrapped after I took all the good parts off of and a 72 Base model Truck that I used to build the 67. The 71 was shot and I decided to use the 72 Cab I took notice of where the door switch went but I never notice where the wires came out of under the dash. It's been 4 years so I would have probibly forgotten by now anyways.

Mario

If I wanted to add these switches to my truck, how do I wire them into the dome light?

I think you would be best to get a original wiring harness It just clips inline.. You would also have to pull the doors to drill the hole for th eswitch in the door jamb.

Well I don't have an original harness.. I'm running a Painless harness. I just wanted to know the principal behind it. I know the door jamb switch just goes to chassis ground, but what wire does it tie into? There is an orange and a white wire going up to the dome light.......... one must be hot and the other must be ground........ correct? Which is which? Its raining outside otherwise I'd figure it out for myself.
