Got a stupid question......

I have seen people post "short wide" in some of their post. What does that mean and are all 73-87 chevy truck with a short wheel base considered a shortwide? Sorry for my stupidity but I had never heard of this before I got my truck.

It took me a while to figure out what "bagged" was. Just remember, when you say something it depends on what part of the country you're in as to just how dumb you are.

Chevy named my 69 C-20 a "Longhorn",(396 bb,400 turbo),because of the 8 1/2' bed.
GMC named my 72 C-3500 a "Wideside Pickup",(402bb,400 turbo), also 8 1/2 bed.
Go figure!

On the original title where the model was listed, the factory identifed it as a 3500 Series Wideside Pickup.

SWB means both. It really means "short wheel base" but the term Short Wide Bed has always been used on these trucks. It just means that it is not a stepside....
