how hard is it to??
how hard is it to replace the studs that hold the upper control arm on on a 2wd pickup?? they look to be pressed in ...is it something i can do at home or do i need someone to do it for me.. i only saw them at LMC but it a vendor of this message board has them i would like to buy frim them instead of LMC..

Yah .. Thats One Nice Thing About Living Out Here In The Dry West. Nuts & Bolts Still Unscrew After 30 Or 40 Years. I Lived In Michigan For 35 Years, & After A Couple Of Winters Everything From The Windows On Down Was A One Piece Rusty Blob. I'll Never Try To Restore One Of Those Again No Matter Where I Live. John

they came out!!!!!!! woohoo.. i brought a pipe vise home from work with a long chain and i straped the front crossmember to it and beat the heck out of it with a nice big hammer.. now the fun starts putting the new ones in after i sand blast it lol!!!!

HEY JOHN.
Look under tthe pitcures board there is pics of pics of project 67. That is a original 72 cab and frame. Restored from the ground up. I agree i would probiblyu never do another Ontario truck again

I used a "spacer" and a old nut and pressed them back in. Just my .02
