Ebay Speedwarning Overlooked

This looks like a great deal......Check it out, it has a speedwarning. It's not mine but thought somebody might want it.

It was at $26.00 when I posted this about 5 minutes ago and had 23 hours left...Will be interesting to see what happens now.

Yeah now it will be interesting to see where this goes. I had been watching this since the first day hoping to snag it tomorrow night for my 67 but everthing on eBay has brought unheard of prices lately. (A 4x4 shifter knob for $147 yesterday.)
I talked to this guy with the dash on the phone twice about the rest of the harness and buzzer and he has checked and there was no wiring or buzzer on the parts truck. He also told me the instrument faces had a little surface rusting just so we all know all the facts when we go to bid.
Good luck.

I'm not interested in bidding on it. I already have two. Just thought I would show a great deal to fellow members. Speedo faces are easy to replace since they're only held on with two screws. The needle comes off easy with a common fork.

What is a good complete speedwarning only cluster worth now a days? I thought one board member a while back had a very nice original one complete with mint bezel and a nice matching 67 CST glovebox door for $275. I think he ran it twice on eBay to sell it. Is a parts dash worth $100 to $150?

I paid almost $600.00 each for the ones I currently have. They each have a factory tach. One has a vacuum gauge and the other has an air pressure gauge. Both came with new bezels and the buzzer. I sold another one I had right around Christmas for $500.00 on buy it now. It also had a tach, vacuum gauge, new bezel, all wiring and a buzzer. I picked up two of them at the Hot August Nights swapmeet for $500.00. I sold the one on ebay and gave the other to a buddy for his B-day.....Did'nt mean to ruin a cheap deal for you after you did some leg work.

No problem at all, I just knew this would have to go fairly cheap to make the extra parts and detail worth it. I am wanting just the warning speedometer without the tach/air pressure stuff for my original restoration. I figured I would use my own cluster since it is mint. So many of the clusters on eBay are restored loaded 69-72 style.

It's kinda hard to see but....There is a small knob on the upper left hand side. It controls a pointer ( white needle ) that the operator can set at any desired limit. If the orange needle goes past the white needle, a buzzer sounds...overspeed warning. It was an early feeble attempt at electronic creature comforts. It's primitive, bit it works. They are kinda rare too. The speedo head can be installed on any instrument cluster from 67-72.

Great I was the guy with the 26.00 bid on it. I noticed it the first few minutes it was put out.

I pushed it to $157.50 and still behind Don. So these things must be worth a small fortune even for incomplete unrestored pieces. I guess I'll have to go search the old fashion way.

I bought a 67 truck that was all orig, maroon with blue interior(weird choice), 327, AC and had that dash. I yanked it before it could be stolen. I got the entire truck for $300. I figured that dash was worth $150-200. and the ac and 327 were certainly worth the $100
