I have a 12" Heavy Duty clutch in my 70 GMC, 350 Grandma 4 spd. Clutch goes all the way to the outer edge of flywheel. Don't know if there's a larger clutch or not? Never had a problem with slipping, unless it was self induced. You should have an inspection cover on the bottom of the bell housing that you can take off and check the clutch? Hope this helps?
