Amazon Marketplace seller "internationalbooks" AKA proquobooks.com
End of last November I spotted a rare Mercedes book on Amazon Marketplace, it was expensive (totalled $150US), but I decided to buy it anyways. The reseller was "internationalbooks" apparently owners of proquobooks.com.
Well, some 11 weeks later I still don't have the book, they pretty promptly charged my credit card, but shipping.... I've exchanged a few emails with them over the course of the last few weeks but haven't gotten any satisfaction from them. I requested a refund on Monday to which they replied that the book must have been "lost in the mail" and they don't give refunds once the book has shipped. I've filed a claim with Amazon, we'll see if I get my money back. Just a warning to stay away. In retrospect it was a mistake to deal with the company seeing as how they have a 5% negative feedback rate. Ron

Just an update, Amazon Marketplace gave me back my money. No explanation why, but I'm not going to complain.
