Ron, I have one K&N velocity stack aircleaner that I used on the 73 Glastron Carlson CV19 Jet Boat I sold in fall of 2003. The boat had an Olds 455/Berkeley Jet Drive. The carb was a Holley 750 DP, so you will know throat size. It's currently on the front seat of my C-30 near Milwaukee, and it may be a couple weeks before I get down there. I'll take $20 plus shipping to ya since I'll probably never use this again, and all it will do is get in the way or become damaged.

If you buy the one from dtilly, I have another velosity stack. I'm not sure of the brand, but I wanna say it is a K&N. I will check for you tomorrow. If it is I'll take the same for mine. I also have a set of 64cc double humps off of a '69 Camaro 300 HP 350. They are "3927186" castings, and have They are 1.94, 1.50 heads, and have had screw in studs and guide plates added. They came off a great running engine that we put a set of Dart II's one. They have decent springs and are ready to run. I will have to have $500 firm. If you are interested in either, let me know. Thanks!

What would you find these 194 heads on typically..I couldn't find the number on mortec's site. Or are you talking the valve size typically?

Ron-- I've got a set of heads in storage in nevada that I had rebuilt two years ago with new valve seats, springs and valves. I had the machine shop(can't remember the name, but great shop in Carson City) drill in the acc holes.
I've got about $900 in 'em and I'd be willing to part for $500. I'll be down there the first weekend in march too... Piper |

12480034 Phase 3 Cast Iron Bow Tie Head
The Phase 3 Bow Tie Head Casting, PN 12480034, replaced the Phase 2 casting in 2000. This casting was only changed to add machining stock for the machined rocker cover rail. Universal spark plug seats are also provided in this head. (See chart for specifications.) (Recommended service parts: 3973416 - 3/8" rocker stud; 3921912 - 7/16" rocker stud; 39373418 - push rod guideplate.) Technical Notes: This cylinder head does not include rocker studs or guide plates. 12480053 Phase 2 Cast Iron Bow Tie Head The Phase 2 Bow Tie Head Casting, PN 14011034, replaced the Phase 1 Bow Tie Head in 1991. This casting features water jacket walls thicker than production and provides metal for porting of inlet and exhaust ports and .300" thick deck material for milling of the head. Machining was changed in 2000 to provide universal spark plug seats (gasket or taper). (See chart for specifications.) Technical Notes: This cylinder head does not include rocker studs or guide plates. Zoom/

Ron, I just hooked up my new puter at the house and I'm buying a new digi camera Sunday, so when I get to Milwaukee (2 weeks?) I'll grab it and take a pic for ya. No sence in sending any $ now, I hope it's still where I put it.

I just reread this thread completely. 194 is the valve size.. 1:94's, 2:02's, and up are better flowing performance heads. 194's will flow to "about" 6500 RPM but are stronger in the mid range, whereas, 202's will flow to A Higher RPM but loose some of the lower mid range. |

Do you still have this set of Bowtie heads? If so, please email me at campbelbm@ntelos.net. I am very interested.
