1970 C-10 FOR SALE Southeast PA. NEEDS RESTORATION

1970 C-10 FOR SALE Southeast PA. NEEDS RESTORATION

1000.00 or best offer

Truck is a solid daily driver. 292 inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed on floor. Everything works. Nice basic collectable, antique chevy pickup to restore or add a V-8 and make your own hot rod.
Condition Description: Body is very solid for the year with some minor rust. Motor runs good after warm-up. Overall condition is good to fair. An "unmolested" original except seats and floor shift.

Thanks.

Update....

I had a potential buyer pull out due to recent financial constraints. It's still for sale, and I prefer local interest if possible, unless anyone can see there way to look at and test drive the truck personally. Thanks.

May be dumb question, but is this a swb or lwb? And is it a leaf spring or trailing arm setup?

That would be the Doylestown area (zip 18901). Thanks.

No such thing as a dumb question

It's a LWB, coil spring setup (no leaf) and the rockers are good.

truck

Any other pictures of the interior, engine compartment, inside of bed, and maybe a few close-ups of any rust areas? Also, when does the PA inspection run out? You can send to my e-mail at bburns@vikingtg.com if you want. Thanks.

See now I got the truck bug. I would love to come look at it next week because its not that far from home, BUT I just bought my truck and it needs alot of work and money. Also the tranny is going in my daily driver . No matter how much I want to come take that off your hands....I can't. Someone please buy this truck so I stop seeing this on here and being so tempted.

Good luck selling it.

That's pretty funny...lol... It's a pretty cool old truck, but not worth agonizing over, and thanks for the laugh

The interior is decent and a little rough here and there. I’ll take pics of it and the inside bed next this weekend weather-permitting. I would have this morning but was pressed for time and stupid me didn’t have the keys on me. I had to lock it up tight and chain/lock the hood shut because some guys were getting a bit too familiar with it one day while I was away. Anyway, I’ll post an update after I load the extra pics. Thanks.

Do you think it would drive back to Boston?

It's been very dependable, but I've never driven it to Boston.

I'd chance it with some extra fluids on board and I'd pack a decent tool kit......maybe get out to check it over every couple hundred of miles.

Of course it's a 1970, so your guess is as good as mine. I've seen some oldies go a thousand miles and some late models that will leave you stranded locally.

Thanks for your interest....
