Putting together a new Short Fleet Bed....

I have always wanted a wood floor bed for my 72' Shorty K-10. I sold the short steel floor bed that the truck came with to a board member and thought I try something slightly different . I had very good luck with a GoodMark bedside on 71 C-10 sooooo....I ordered a complete New wood floor Short Fleet Bed from Les at GMC Paul's. It wasn't cheap but if it fits like my other bedside did I'm going to be grinning big! I have a mint original tailgate, the trunions, and folding supports for the tailgate....but everything else is on the way from GMC Paul's. Should be delivered shortly and I will let you guys know how the whole thing goes together. Oak will be finished in a natural very light color with polished strips...can't wait. I've got a money printing press in the basement...LOL.

Thank Eric!!! The 71' C-10 will turn into my daily driver come this spring/summer and the Short K-10 is coming completely apart. This Short wood floor bed is the first stage of the K-10 resto.
