went to a local junkyard.....

I got a line on a stepside bed in a local junkyard (10miles) near me. I ended up buying the bed, but it needs some work, but I did find a bunch of interesting things there, so here are some pics of the trucks in the yard...enjoy!

Your lucky...the trucks in your pictures seem to be in pretty good shape. Here in L.A. all the trucks in the junkyards are stripped clean or are crashed and useless. You have to be lucky here and go often to score some good parts.

In the first post, the red truck, how were the signal light lenses? I am in need of a set, both mine have nasty cracks in them...

Great photos . I`m thinking we all should have a photo contest on junk yards or lost trucks on farms and waste land areas. Just take a few and post.

Ill just bet this has already been done but I`m new . :-)

Hey guys... I love going for a walk in local junk yards... While Im a bachleor Id like to hang a couple pics and hang them up at the house... There's something so cool about a car or truck that you havent seen in 40 years just kinda sitting there.... Or when there is a stack of cars, its like a puzzle to figure out what they where before they got flattened..... I thought it was just me too!!
