big block mounts

Looking to buy or where to get a set of big block motor mounts.Have 72 towers and a 402 bb need the mount that bolts to the motor and fits over the clamshell. Havent found a parts store here let that has them or seems to know. 73 bb mount wont match up,tried that. Any help??

Cups?

I don't know what others call them but I call them cups. I thought Chevy used them on everything starting in 73 - car and truck. Try a core pile at the wreckingyard - they should be everywhere. Don't have to be BB - SB should work if you are talking about the piece with 3 bolts to the block.

I call them the clamshell myself. There is 2 different styles though. That I know of anyway. One sits the engine a little higher than the other but I couldn't tell you how to tell the difference with having the 2 side by side.
I used to have about a dozen laying around but I think they all got hauled off. I can look around if ya want.

That would be great 454,the yards here are crushing faster that they can feed them,looks like China getting all our old trucks
