Changing from 69-72 springs to 73-up?
Ok, I know this has been talk about before, but i cant seem to find any info on it. A friend called me this morning saying he has a line on a 6 inch lift that one of his friends is taking off. Hes asking like $250 for the front sprinds, steering parts, and maybe shocks. The problem is that they are for a '73 and up chevy and I have a '69 (also the fact that 6 inches a more then i wanted to lift my beast). Anyways how much work goes into changing the mounts out to fit them? Thanks guys
Kevin

Would probably be better off just spending the extra $100 on a brand new lift (front springs, rear blocks). It'll be worth every penny in the end rather than dealing with the hassle of relocating mounts, figuring correct pinion angle, etc...Then you could choose how much lift you want also.

Yeah, thats very true, and thats probably what I'll end up doing. At this point I'm just curious as to what all you have to do. Thanks
