Hoods

Will a 67-68 hood fit on a 69-72 front clip? I like the 67-68 hood better than the 69-72 but I like the 71-72 grilles better than teh 67-68.

it's not that they won't fit. b/c they will. the problem lays in the fact that the grill on the 69-72 is too tall and wil not let the hood close.

now a 69-72 will fit on the 67-68 but there is a gap where the hood meets the grill and the fender lines and the hood lines won't match up.

Cool, thanks guys. Not too bad of news. I love these trucks. Had a 68 shortbed stepside in highschool, but wrecked it. So I sold it to a freind cause I was discusted with it, but now I got a chance at a rust free, all original 69, so I think im gonna get it and have some fun. Prolly be hearin from me often, askin stupid questions
