Adjusting fuel pressure?
Searched for this but couldn't find a thread. Is there a way to adjust fuel pressure on the mechanical fuel pumps (carburetor, Edelbrock 1406) on the small block engines or do you just get a new one? 5-6 psi is good, right?
Thank you.

You can get a fuel pressure regulator from most any auto parts store, or online from Jegs or Summit. I'm running a 1406 also and I put on an Edelbrock fuel pump from Jegs that is already regulated for the carb since I needed a new pump anyway.
