No not the wife's!
Anybody know how much a complete rearend weighs (72). Need to know for possible shipping...

75 lbs bare housing plus roughly 45 for carrier and gears plus roughyl 38 for shafts and whatever drums are and add 10 lbs for little stuff i forgot like diff cover and bolts, etc etc

a longbed 73-80 2wd C10 frame minus engine cradle but plus tranny memeber is 200lbs i found out last fall

1/2 ton spindle caliper and rotor combo weighs 60,
3/4 ton is 82lbs
ch465 tranny minus bellhousing is 180lbs
