I assume you're running the long pump. I don't have the serp, but was able to make a Dayco 70664 work with the long pump.

The problem is the alum bracket for the a/c pump and air pump, cant make the corner around it and the frame, it is alot lower.

Is the belt rubbing on the hose in that pic above?
Maybe you'll have to make a steel extension or such?

No the belt doesn't rub there is plenty of room between the belt and hose its the bend thats the problem. I guess probably have a solid pipe made and use straight rad hoses to connect, unless someone else has any other ideas.

72--I can't help you with the hose, but I have a question? I'm considering a serpentine setup and I'm wondering if your setup came with that idler in place of the air pump? Or is that something you made yourself? Thanks!

Had the same problem with my 71, but don't have the serpentine belt. If I remember correctly, think I used a hose made for the 72 Blazer which has the long pump. It has a sharp bend up at the water pump end. Fits perfectly on my truck. May be able to find the part number if you need it.

It came with the idler pulley for the air pump. I bought the whole setup from Sallee Chevrolet at Salle-chevrolet.com, summit also sells it or you can buy it from many Local Chevrolet dealers. It comes with new GM water & power steering pumps, Alternator with plug, all pulleys, belt, all the brackets, bolts and instructions for $550.00 or $750.00 with a/c compressor.

I wish I could help with the hose issue, but if you do find a hose that fits please post the part # or application of the hose because I was considering this very same setup.

Also, I noticed that you have a sanden A/C compressor mounted in place of the radial unit thats supposed to go there, what did you do to make it fit?

The Adapter kit came from Old Air Products out of Texas, I used GM belt # 14097664, Goodyear # 6PK2520. I used their a/c system one thing though is the hoses do not come with both hose ends connected you have to measure them and either send them back to be made or bring them to your local a/c shop to have them crimped, which I guess is good if you want to run your line differant than factory. Vintage Air out of Florida crimp their hoses at a pre determined length in the complete kit they sell.

Thanks, I already have a Vintage Air system installed on my truck with a V-belt bracket. I wanted to put the serpentine system on there but I was thinking that I would have to use the radial compressor with the hose adapter kit to make it work.

I hope you figure out the hose thing, it looks like you're coming together there.

If you have the # of that hose it would be great, also a picture if possible.
Thanks

Finally have the solution I hope, had a piece of pipe bent and used parts of a stock replacement hose. Will have it made in Stainless tomorrow with a mandrel pipe bender, and hope for the best.
