73-87 Garage Sale

I've got a some parts laying around I'd like to have out of my way. If you need something not listed just ask, I've parted out a few of these trucks and I might have it. Everything is OBO, if you want it we can probably work something out.

1. 14 bolt rear, full floater 3.73 gears pulled from a 79 3/4 ton. I drove the truck before it was pulled and there was nothing wrong with this. Complete from drum to drum and still has 8 lug steel wheels w/ 31X10.50 tires on theml. $150.

2. Pair of good doors. One has minor surface rust on inside lower edge, it's an original GM door with the tripod style mirror and full Silverado trim from a 79. The other is an aftermarket, complete with no mirror or trim holes. $150 for the pair.

3. 73-80 drivers side fender. Good condition, minor surface rust. Still mounted to inner fender, inner fender in useable shape but has a 5X5 rust hole towards the back. $50

4. 73-80 hood. Good condition, no rust. Two small dents in top, would be easy to fix. No rust. $50

5. 79 tilt column. It's a little loose, from a truck w/cruise. $100

6. 81-87 hood. Brand new in box. It's an aftermarket hood I picked up for cheap. It's got a kink on the top along the edge on one side, doesn't look like the hood itself is bent it's just low quality. $50

I've also got an 84 Silverado parts truck in the garage I'll be getting rid of soon. It's got power windows/locks and a good solid rear window. Would consider getting rid of complete truck for cheap but will likely be parting it out within the next month. I want it out of my way. No engine/trans - most underhood stuff is gone.

I joined last year and kind of forgot about it. I lurk around over here alot, there is a lot of good info to be had. I've been an active member over at fullsizechevy.com for a while to but there doesn't seem to be as big of a 73-87 following. I've also noticed there seems to be more people from the midwest over here as well. They're both good places for info either way and I'll probably be around both for a while. I'm about 40 miles northwest of Indy and 30 minutes south of Lafayette in Crawfordsville. Thanks for the welcome.

I haven't touched the interior of the 84 yet so it should still be there. I'll see if I can find it tonight and pull it out of there, let me know what it's worth. I'm reasonable on pricing.

Sorry, I don't have the stock rallies. I've got a set of the 454SS style wheels though that I might let go of. They're not perfect but from 5 feet away they look good. Let me know if you're interested. I can include the center caps w/lug covers and a set of special lug nuts with the external thread to mount them on a 73-87 (88-up has 14 mm wheel studs and 73-87 is 1/2 in.)

If the '84 has delay wipers I'll take the switch.

What sort of shape is the dash pad? Any cracks or tears? Need one for my '91 Burb. Price and shipping to 67152 if pad is good?

What shape are the vent windows and body on the 84 parts truck. Any more details on it?

Vent windows are in good shape. Doors and bed are junk. Drivers side fender is good, passenger side fender has dent in front, no hood. Cab is fairly solid and would be easily saveable. Floor is solid, I don't think there's any through rust in rockers but I think it has a couple small holes in the cab corners so they would need to be replaced. It's an A/C cab. I don't have a title for it. It's in the garage right now so it would be kind of hard to get a pic of it, if I've got time I might be able to pull it out this weekend and get a shot of it if you're interested.

What do you consider complete? Is the wiring harness for those stand alone or are you going to need the entire interior harness? Door panels? I honestly don't know what a setup like this goes for so I'll have to get back with you on a price.

I think the wiring is mostly stand alone, but I'd settle for whatever I can get. I can wire up the rest if need be, but as much as possible would be great... Just let me know when you get a price... you can email me at

I'll be outside working on the yard tomorrow since it's actually supposed to be nice. I'll try to get out there and see what I can get off of it. I'm willing to let go of all of it, did you want the door panels as well?
