New parts always make me happy.
I can't install this stuff this weekend because I have midterms next week, but during spring break I hope to bolt it all together. Hoping for about 350hp and 400lbft torque.

Yeah, they were expensive stickers too. I should gain about 500+ hp with just those alone.

The cam is an XE268, 224/230* @.050", 268/280* adv. The lift is .477"/.480". Should run pretty good on the street.

They are Dart Iron Eagles, 180cc runners, 64cc chambers. It will have about 9.5-1 compression. Going on a little 357.

Farm truck? Not any more.

You really should study more and on the weekends as well. After finals you should study for next term. Since you should study ALL the time you can just send me the parts and I'll send you a picture of how they look installed.

You got some really nice parts there. Those heads look awesum, and should help get you to your desired HP goals. What type of headers are you running/going to run? I put a 268 cam in an 83 Z-28 with a 350 and crossfire injection, and had a very nice "lope" at idle, and the rpm's whold shoot up nicely. A very streatable cam. Also, Comp and Lunati Cams were both in Memphis, and I chose Comp because of their customer service. The Lunati brothers have branched out in other business ventures (owning adult entertainment establishments and phone sex call centers), so they actually don't spend the time needed to run a great HP parts manufacturing business. Another reason dad's shouldn't give the family the business.

dtlilly, I have Flowtechs on it right now, eventually I would like to get some Thorleys because they are a little bigger and better.
I am in school, I am not full-time anymore, only taking a couple classes but I work 25-30 hours a week so I can afford a big purchase now and then.
I will definitely post "after" pics, might be a couple weeks but I'll keep posted. I might start ripping it down next weekend, who knows.

This thing is going to be pretty bad on the street. Not going to dyno it, but going from ~290hp to at least 350 (Desktop Dyno says 388, that's probably a little high) should be enough to put a big fat grin on my face. Not my neighbors' though.

By the way, if anyone was wondering about the Dart assembled heads, they come with Comp Cams springs and guideplates, and ARP screw-in studs. Pretty cool. The kit I bought from SDPC also comes with GMPP head gaskets (made by FelPro) and ARP head bolts. Just a heads up.

Gee looks like that 355 may need a few more cubes to make use of all that free flowing fuel and air mxture... I imagine there will be a stroker crank somewhere in the future... if you can make that outlay at once, i am sure with time the need will grow a lil more... ITS AN ADDICTION!!!! MORE POWER!!!!
