Speedwarning Help
I purchased a Speedwarning tach from E-bay actually believing the seller description was half was accurate. I recieved it in the mail today and the knob is cracked and the dial does not work. Does anyone know if there are any parts floating around or if it can be rebuilt.

I'll check if I have any NOS knobs left. I have quite a few of the nuts that hold the cable on to the bezel. Someone will rebuild them ..but I'm not sure who to recommend.
Buy it with any type of false statement from the buyer?

As recently as 3 years ago my buddy was able to buy the knob from the dealer (bag of 10). Don't know if they are still available or not. He does not any available to sell.
Sorry - Bob

I contacted this guy twice both email and then the phone while this auction was going and he told me it was incomplete of the wiring and buzzer after looking at his donor truck. He also told me the face was a little rusty and unsure of the working part of the speed indicator. I guess a person has to ask the questions anymore as eBay sellers are salesman! When these parts prices get higher anymore I would rather search the swap meets to see it in hand first or try and find them from someone I can trust off the board. I see you haven't updated his feedback either. Mark

unfortuantly I saw the dash as the auction was ending. I shot off a quick email but no luck with a timely reply. I just seems to me that the honest person would include such information. As the wife keeps reminding me, I am too trusting of others. Owell lesson learned!

Try some of the Corvette parts houses. The exact same knob was used on 3rd generation Corvettes. It was used as the reset knob for the trip odometer. Seems almost every part for C-3 vettes are being repopped these days. The ones from the dealer are no longer available. I just checked a few weeks ago when I placed a large parts order.
