Gauging interest. 69 C-10 LWB fleet FS.
I'm thinking about possibly selling my truck. It needs a little more work than I have time to do. I will be moving to Florida in June and am not sure I want to drive it all the way there. Thought I'd see if any of you guys would be interested and if I could get enough out of it. I need at least $3500 to make it worth selling.
Details: Matching numbers 350, SM 465 4-speed with granny low. Just replaced the valve covers with stock units, still have the aluminums in the garage. Changed the steering wheel to one out of an '87 Trans Am. No radio or speakers. Paint is in good condition all around. There is a problem with the engine blowing oil out of places, I believe it has too much crankcase pressure and could use a rebuild. This is the only reason I'm considering selling it. I'm worried about driving it 3600 miles and the engine possibly going on me. It has 49,XXX original miles. It could use new tires, the ones on it are drying out around the edges. There is very little rust on the truck, the most I've noticed is around the bottom edges of the doors on the inside, but you really have to look for it. Has a small leak in the radiator, it needs to replaced. It has 4-wheel manual drums with 6-lug wheels. No power steering, and no A/C. It has the dash panel with guages, with the exception of tach and vacuum guages. The dash looks brand new. The truck is located in Astoria, Oregon. If anyone is interested post here, or e-mail me at Rmason@steadfast.uscg.mil. Ron And for the pics:
