Throttle rod piece?
Pic is a little blurry but is this the piece that holds the throttle rod onto the carb linkage?

Does this look right? Thats a cotter pin on the carb side. Pics are fuzzy today.

I always did mine the other way around, the clip on the pedal rod and the cotter pin on the carb end...not sure if that's how it's "supposed" to be, but that's how all 3 of mine came to me.

Clip goes on the other end of rod. Cotter pin on carb.

Jhow is right because the circle end of the clip may or will bind on the carb lever and
restrict throttle opening. Hey Skokie why aren't you out cleaning that frame/ LOL I just looked at the pic and you have one on the carb end too WUWT. VV

yep...looks good. I notice you have the spring pulled to the rear...I like that personally. Always thought it looked stupid pulled to the front. Here is the one on the GMC that CHEVYE is taking apart. (ignore the finger)
