For those that wondered (high hump pics)

For the guys that haven't seen a high hump, here ya go! (seen this question asked before) Here's pics of mine and the hole it attaches over. The high humps bolt on and the low humps are actually part of the floor.....

I honestly don't know, it's a manual 3 speed and I know nothing about manual trannys.

Kiddin Randy. I don't know enough about them myself in our trucks I only know my 3 on the tree model and it looks nothing like that.

I had a 65 chevy w/4spd with the long shifter. I bent it so the throw was shorter, went a little overboard...couldn't get it into reverse with the seat up. Maybe someone moded it?

Yeah, I know. Jim has the clutch that he said I could have, I told him to hang on to it but I'll most likely use the TH350 that's behind the 350 in my 70 GMC (the one that we rolled in Nov.) It still runs great!!

The 4wd shifters come out further back in the hump. The tranny Randy has is a 4spd. The reason it is so far forward is because of the engine being in the forward position. The motor was a V8. I think the I6 tranny sit back further also.

Randy's dually did have a 427 in it before I got it. But of course it was not stock.

Yep, all the way up through 1990. I've driven a bunch of 454/SM465 trucks. When the 1-ton crew-cabs went to the 88-release body style (1991?), I think they went up to the NV's.

Somebody correct me if they went further.
