1970 factory/dealer air shocks? code?

I have air shocks on the rear of my truck and just assumed they were aftermarket. However I just read that in 1970 you could get air shocks as an option? If so does anyone know how I could tell if mine are factory/dealer installed or what the options code would be? Thanks

I looked in the "red book" and didn't see a listing for air shocks for what it's worth.

They were available, but I have only seen one truck with them- CST 396 buckets and th400 with A.I.R. Can't help you with the RPO because the truck is gone now. The valve was located on the driver's side much like the switch for dual tanks mounted in the floor.

There was some option on these trucks that involved air and the rear suspension..cant quite remember it right now..but I had this option sticker noted ...option G66 Superlift rear shock. I did see a 67 myself that had a rear suspension with air but I am thinking it was air bags in the coils, maybe a different option number. Anyway, heres what I got for now.

My 'Owners Manual" for 1971 GMC lists air shocks as an option ( on back pages)
