Tach Dash Lighting Questions

Are there fewer instrument panel background lights in a tach dash vs. a regular full intrument dash? My service manual indicates so, but I am curious why?//

Where would the fiber optic bulb connect in a tach dash?

A picture would be great!

Thanks!

The tach dash has the has the same # of dash bulbs as a non-tach gauge dash, and the fiber optic socket stills goes into the socket that is on right side of speedometer face lighting the speedo when looking at the dash from the front.

Us 70 owners will let you slide if you promise to get one in the next 2 months! Maybe you should get rid of that 88, it's way to new.

Actually the 88 3/4 ton 4X4 w/350ci Edelbrock MPFI though licensed & insured hasn't been driven in 6 months to a year and I've considered using its drivetrain to make a extended cab 67-72 4X4.
The 94 & 97 1ton big blocks we own are sucking up most the gas lately.
Can't add them or others to our signature do to limitations placed on signatures so I just leave it alone.
